Inner Peace Welcomes Brittany Molkenthin, APRN to the Team

My name is Brittany Molkenthin, CPNP-PC and I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a specialty in Pediatrics. I graduated from UCONN School of Nursing and subsequently obtained my Master’s Degree of Nursing at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. The first several years of my nursing career were spent in pediatric intensive care at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Currently, I work as an APRN at Richard Lavoie Pediatrics, in a primary care setting. I see children from their first days in this world until they graduate from college. As an APRN in the primary care setting, I am well versed in many mental health conditions including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autistic disorder. An integral part of my practice is emphasizing the importance of therapy and counselling as a means to treat and assist those with mental health concerns. However, there is a time when pharmacology treatment is needed, and that added piece will be my role at Inner Peace. I value conversation, collaboration, and family-based health care as I work with children and their families.

Accepting New Clients for In-Person and Telehealth

Inner Peace CT Wellness Center offers an opportunity to create healing and change through innovative, evidence-based counseling treatment methods. We provide Individual, Marital, Family, and Group counseling to individuals of all ages by highly skilled and dedicated professionals.

Our goal is to offer treatment of both MIND and BODY as one does not exist without the other. Inner Peace CT Wellness, in addition to counseling, offers multiple Therapeutic Yoga classes, Meditation, Massage and Reiki Therapy.

Many psychologists are embracing yoga and meditation as tools so clients can use them outside of the therapy session. Our program incorporates healthy balance ways of thinking, yoga, and psycho education to enhance the therapeutic effects of treatment. The classes are designed to help people release and manage stress. The classes have different levels of physical challenge to fit a diverse population. By combining cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and yoga, you increase the likelihood of reducing anxiety and depression, change brain chemistry, and positively impact your autonomic nervous system.

At Inner Peace CT, we strive for excellence in mental health resources, therapies, and education for our clients. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us here. We look forward to hearing from you.
